A small but perfectly located two bedroom apartment in Chelsea, London was in need of modernisation after being clumsily reconfigured in past years. The Kitchen and bathroom spaces were repositioned opening up the full width of the sitting room wall to reveal symmetrical spaces either side of the existing fireplace. This created space and balance within the main living space. Striking gold kitchen cabinets add an extra touch of luxury and reflection to this first floor space which is flooded with light from the floor to ceiling french doors. Contemporary lighting features contrast beautifully with the period features and slim, open-formed furniture stops the small space from feeling overwhelmed.
